CAMPCRAFT AND SURVIVAL SKILLS
These programmes offer the skills required to undertake overnight expeditions for GAISCE AWARDS i.e. Bronze, Silver and Gold.
Following the programme, participants will be able to pitch tents in remote areas, carry all essential equipment for cooking and learn to navigate effectively. All our programmes adhere to Leave No Trace principles.
To fulfill requirements for Junior Cycle PE, Leaving Cert Applied, Primary School Curricula, participants will learn to erect temporary and emergency shelters from material found naturally, learn how to navigate without compass and light fires without matches.
